On a cold winter day before Christmas, Dom and Sonny began their life together in the chill of their hometown, Hamburg, Germany.
Brimming with warmth and wanderlust, their hearts led them to a sun-soaked island where palm trees swayed and the ocean whispered promises of adventure.
In Lombok, Indonesia, Dom and Sonny brought to life Cocoon Reserve, an enchanting bamboo resort that echoed their love for nature and all things sustainable.
Not long after, their real baby, Milo, was born, filling their world with even more sunshine. As their three dogs kept a watchful eye on Milo, Dom and Sonny’s hearts began to dream again.
They envisioned a place where Milo could grow up surrounded by nature, with big gardens, animals to befriend, and plenty of space to roam free. This dream became Mawi Valley, a haven of beautiful family homes where life could be lived outdoors, in harmony with the land.
As fate would have it, they met Will, a kindred spirit and surfer with a heart as big as the waves he rides. Will shared their vision and brought the perfect blend of values, dedication, and enthusiasm to turn Mawi Valley into a reality. Together, they are building a place where life is celebrated, connections are nurtured, and each day unfolds as a new chapter of discovery.
